What the form collects
We collect the contact details, material description, suburb, quantity, notes and photos you choose to submit. For business enquiries you can also provide your company, business type, supply frequency, enquiry purpose and project reference. We also record your form declarations, the displayed information version and the submission time. Basic technical identifiers are used to limit automated abuse. Please do not upload identification documents, bank details or sensitive personal information through the quote form.
Why it is collected
Your information is used to assess the material, respond to your enquiry and discuss collection or sale arrangements. A quote request is not a booking or a final sale agreement. Submitted enquiries and photos are stored using the website hosting and storage services, including Cloudflare, and are accessible through the protected owner dashboard. Service infrastructure may process information outside Australia. Providing a name, contact number, suburb and load details lets us respond; without the required details this form cannot be submitted. Email is an alternative contact method. We do not use this enquiry permission to enrol you in unrelated marketing.
Business follow-up and records
Scrap Copper Australia may keep supplier contact details, agreed transaction information, project references, follow-up dates and communication notes in the owner workspace to manage the supply relationship. Access is restricted to the owner. The workspace does not automatically send marketing messages. Contact us if you need to discuss or correct information held about your business.
Contact and requests
Contact info@scrapcopperaustralia.com.au to request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request relates to you and will respond using the contact details you provide. We keep enquiry information while needed to manage the request and related supply relationship, then review it for deletion. Deletion is subject to any applicable legal record-keeping obligations; required scrap purchase records are retained for three years. Withdrawing an enquiry does not cancel a separately agreed transaction or remove legally required records. You can also withdraw a newly submitted request from its confirmation screen while your receipt is available in that tab.
Photos and external links
Only upload photos you are entitled to share. Avoid including faces, identification documents or unrelated personal information. Email links open your email application. Phone links open your calling application. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, a third-party service with its own privacy terms. Social page links will be connected separately.
Optional website analytics
If you allow analytics, this site stores a random browser ID locally for up to 90 days and an activity session ID in your tab, renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. Your choice is remembered for up to 180 days. We record pages visited, predefined link and button actions, form steps and errors, and server-confirmed form submissions. We also record referring website hostnames and broad screen-size groups. We do not record form-field values, typed text, photos, full referring URLs or raw IP addresses in analytics, and we do not use session replay or fingerprinting.
These identifiers describe a browser, not a verified person. Activity is visible only in the owner dashboard and is stored using the same hosting services described above. Analytics queries cover at most the last 90 days; older raw events are removed progressively during incoming traffic. Declining analytics does not prevent an enquiry. Changing your choice stops future optional tracking on this browser; contact us about previously stored data. Browser Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track requests disable optional tracking.
