Bright & Shiny copper
We buy clean, bare copper wire without insulation. Keep Bright & Shiny separate from other copper grades so your material can be assessed clearly.

Before you sell
- Keep tinned, enamelled, burnt, soldered and heavily oxidised wire separate.

What affects the quote?
Cleanliness and the actual wire grade matter. Copper appearance alone does not guarantee Bright & Shiny classification; the final grade is confirmed after inspection. Mixed or coated copper can be assessed separately.
Questions about this material
Is all stripped wire Bright & Shiny?
No. Coatings, solder, burning and oxidation can put wire in a different grade. Tell us what you have and send a clear close-up.
Is it worth stripping every cable?
Ask for an insulated-cable quote before spending time stripping. The practical benefit depends on the cable and your preparation effort.
